What are you up to today? What creative things have you done this week? Seen anything cool you want to share?

I've been working on my main constructed language, Nyjichun. I've got 25 entries to finish and then a whole bunch of words to add to the English to Nyjichun page. I also lead a really great game of Wizards! with some Twitter friends.

hi everyone! i'm new here.

i've been doing a lot more studies of animals (some of which you can see on my first non-stickied journal post). after seeing some very impressive, dynamic, and varied art of all kinds of animals species from the same person it inspired me.

i've always liked that fantastical feel of animal illustrations you get from children's media whether it's cartoons or storybooks. i want to give my art that kind of touch too!

I've got cabin fever because it's raining and I wanted to go on a hike. I'm channeling my excess energy into a major declutter/weekly apartment cleanup. I'm hoping tomorrow I can get to work on one of the many, many stories on Mt. ToBeFinished.

I finished the cookies! And burned myself (not real bad, but there's gonna be a blister). And washed most of the dishes, which probably didn't help the burn (I did it in the middle of washing the dishes when the second batch needed to come out of the oven)

I'm having a rough time brain-wise; I went for a long drive, which kind of helped, but I think I'm gonna spend the rest of the day putzing around the house trying to catch up on stuff.

Probably also getting sat on my cats, to be fair.

I went outside just long enough to grab something, except the sun was out & the cats wanted to run around, so I let them. In the meantime I got a bunch of lumber hauled around to the back of the house, got the booth tent halfway taken down, & set up the new shelves in my van, so hey, Stuff.

Also laughing at the cats, they are a JOY.
