Been working on a museum-style journal to talk about home culture and countries and such. It's good to get back to but hasn't been something many others seem interested in. :/

Also started an online gallery for it and that's finally been getting progress.

Last week I finished and posted a short piece of fanfic, and now I'm working on a slightly longer piece of fanfic.

This week, I'm focussing on enthusiastic imperfection. I want to leave more comments, and I want to finish more projects, and I want to have fun! :D

I've finished some more bingo squares for the july break bingo, organize my com' tags and started to crosspost stuff in there (mostly after the scare of what happened to ao3)


I'll be halfway throught the 5x5 bingo card when I finish writing the serial killer au, so I guess there's a chance to blackout it.

other than that, just some more pre-moving organization all over my bedroom

I finished a short story for a 'mall horror' open call and am trying to get it betaed. I want to get my story for wipbigbang done.

I claimed a story during art claims, and now am collaborating with my author on what kind of art I‘m going to do for that story. I usually do scene illustrations, but other artists do book cover art, or chapter dividers or whatever.

I created a (somewhat) cleaner bathroom! Plus updates on summerofthe69, yadda yadda.

I also found a good amount of fleece for quite cheap at Joann's, so I'm hoping to motivate myself to create some more corn sacks in the near future. We'll see how that goes, though.

After a longer break I finally sat down and drew something last night. I had a headache all day, but just starting was the right thing to do.

I created just about the simplest possible quilt block... 4 stripes, no 2 of them came out the same width. This is harder than I thought. (Anyone surprised? No?)

For quite possibly the first time in my life I am going to sit down and practice, practice, practice! My cutting seems to be reasonably accurate but my seams are all over the place. I have some more videos to watch and things to test for.

Fabric shopping is also on the list; I think I've proceeded as far as I can with random stuff from my stash.

I've been working in some knit socks for myself. I got to the heel, & I haven't had time or brain space to work on it. I'm doing toe up socks so the knitting before this has been very basic. I'm hoping to work on it today.

I also made naan bread yesterday which was yummy. I'm planning on making bagels today. I got Asiago cheese on this week's grocery order so I can top them with it. :)

I've heard of second sock syndrome. Making the second one of a pair is always tricky.
