I got some more quilting practice in - I've pieced the top for the teddy bear quilt and learned how to optimize the piecing process a little.

I also am preserving the narrow corridor of open space in the craft room that I had to open up for the heat pump installation, just for the sheer novelty of space.

Of course I have found YET MORE inspiration for complicated quilting layouts on Reddit. I haven't even dared cut into the shirt panels for the memory quilt; what makes me think sewing anything more elaborate than squares is a good idea?!

Last Wednesday it would have been my brother's birthday. That was a rough day.

Crafting practice is so comforting and good, go you! I tried to avoid inspiration bunnies back when I was sewing small toys and doll clothing, I know the feel!
