It was pouring. I've gotten the vacuuming done, and yesterday used our new rowing machine, plus made the achievement banners for rainbowlists

Rogan: I am finally inking a naughty comic I penciled back before the pandemic, and I'm on track to have it done in a couple weeks! It's also got some of the most artistic skill I've ever pumped into a comic, so many environment ref sketches and stuff went into this.

Also it makes me laugh that I'm setting a porn comic in the world's least sexy public bathroom, which I call Poop Jail.

I hope it sells!

Right now currently juggling between still getting my daily words down (( I tend to do my writing on a site called 4 the words that basically makes writing a game. And 444 words a day is what's needed to keep up my word streak.)) and working on putting together enough cardboard house bases for a piece I'm working on.

The piece in question I've gotten some more paint down on rocks section, and with some dry brushing some colors the rocks are looking so much better. Which is great because I'm not well practiced with shading/dry brushing so I'm proud of myself.

Next plans for the week, I need to get into the craft store for some new materials for the current project and a few others.

Also thinking of maybe challenging myself to keep track of how many original characters, both fandom and original worlds I make in a year and develop. I really do love making ocs, so that can be a lot.

Lots of being sick and severe PTSD flares. None of us remember if "Thiên Sao Blesses the Earth with His Last Star" (sketch and miniature, by aj and Anh) happened this week. It probably did.

Yesterday and today and the rest of the weekend is playtesting!

Also yesterday we walked into a wall because our stereoscopic vision never worked and are nursing an owwwwwwwww ankle.

Also Anh and Chi designed a card game for a game system! It needs much more playtesting after the current bout of playtesting. It's a very simple, kind of abstract-ish game about fishing that secretly teaches players why overfishing is bad and why it happens (basically big companies that only care about profits this quarter and not long-term viability of fish stocks).

Had promised to start posting a webcomic of mine by the end of this year and... well, I got busy with a cool work opportunity, and then wanting to experiment with my art process because there's something there I'm no longer liking and... didn't build up any buffer for pages

So, now I'm scrambling to set up the site & post the chapter title page. Determined to keep that promise!!

It’s winter time and that means writing season! I made a blackout on my December Amnesty card for the fest over on Allbingo! \o/

I’ll definitely be doing the Public Domain Day fest at Allbingo in January, and then at the end of the month I’ll revive my Final Friday Fics prompt call.

I’m also going to be getting used to a new work schedule, which is a bit of a bummer. I was fully remote for the last 3 years, but starting 1/1/24 they want us in-office 2 days a week. No idea why. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I got a tiny quilting practice project done, and another nearly done (just need to do the binding!). Gasp, I may actually know what I'm doing.

Next I need to finish the teddy bear quilt for the quilting guild (and remember to make a bag for the bear & quilt). Then I will start the real work of the memory quilt for my brother's girlfriend.
