I am working on the memory quilt at last! I've cut some squares, and some slightly larger squares for making half-square triangles with some white quilting cotton I'm repurposing from another project. Next I'm going to trim the half-square triangles to size and start playing with layouts.

Difficulty: I managed to pick up a cold on my retail excursions last weekend. So far testing negative for covid, but it does make my coordination and judgment even worse than usual.

Shirts from my late brother. Mostly aloha (Hawaiian) shirts, but there are a few odd ones in there.

I've started by using the sleeves from a few representative shirts, and mixing with some actual quilting fabric, both to stabilize the fabric and dilute the color intensity a bit.
