As implied, I got a new car and traded in my 20+ year-old one. I've already changed my car insurance and CarMax handles the DMV stuff

For the first time in forever, I'm getting back into writing. I just got a bingo card to fill, and posted a fill for a different prompt comm, too! The fill was for Hazbin Hotel, in particular Angel Dust, who is my favorite character from that show.

I have created... a job hunt. Boo! P.S. live coding tests are the WORST.

I have cut more squares for the Hawaiian shirt quilt. Holy **** rayon is squiggly.

I've been pecking at tiny cross stitch projects (Christmas Pusheen ftw on those days when my hands don't want to do much!) and *finally* hemmed the dining room curtains after months of procrastination.

I edited this week. Which... isn't anything in the writing bit, but it's something. I edited three scenes. I need to edit three more this week, and maybe write on something else? I dunno. I'm very fried, between heat, job hunt, and editing.

i finished arranging a song i was working on!! i realised i have produced around half an hour of music since the year began. i'm just doing covers right now (so i can focus on the production side, and practice transcribing melodies and chords i like) - but after a few years where i wasn't making anything musical, that feels really good, especially as i can see that i am improving with each song i finish. having a DAW that actually works for me helps immeasurably (i was using cubase, but moved to fl studio which is much better suited for midi and sampling). now to mix it, and send it to my friend who wants to collab with me. aaah!
