Thematically fitting: I'm trying to work out how to turn the apartment into the kind of space I want it to be. So it can be cozy and creative instead of cluttered.

It finally occurred to me that I can paint the bland AF white storage cabinet in interesting colours.

So, over the next week - I will probably be looking for appropriate tools/paints for that. And I'll probably be shoving everything from a media centre into a single box, so I can ditch the media centre (finally) and be that much closer to putting everything into a new cabinet.

It is more than a little liberating to realize a piece of furniture is MINE and I can decorate it if I want to. I can have my Weird Barbie ApArtment.

That sounds like a good project! I wish you the best of luck! A few moths back I turned an old room my ex had when he lived here into my writing/jigsaw puzzle/book room. And it's been a good fit.

I have been working on my comic, art fight moves, some hobbies around my house since outside has been a bit hot for me. But I've been overall alright. There is some stress with an unknown trip to see family which I need to find out about in order to let my boss know if I need to take the time off for or not. That's probably the biggest stressor in my life to date.

Well, beyond last night's ER adventures.... I have done a bit. Not as much as I wanted to, but I got things done and that's what counts.

Saturday I did a cutting frenzy of squares for the Hawaiian shirt quilt. Sunday my brain deserted me so I noodled on my wardrobe planning project a bit.

I am so tired of job hunting. "Tell me about a time when someone said 'tell me about a time when' about 8 times in half an hour, and how you handled that..." I just want to go to work. :(
