I'm trying out various keyboard switches I bought (I've found one I hate and two that I like).

I volunteered to do this year's Public Domain Day on allbingo

I'm working on a wiki (using tiddlywiki) for the old Thundercats comics and which issues reprinted which stories. It'll eventually get posted and the info will be copied over to the Grand Comics Database

I have less than 15 hours of podcasts to listen to before the new year so I can start with an empty queue. Unfortunately, my queue is episodes from before 2019

Well, Dad went into the hospital a week ago. So, since then, we - really I - have been scouring the house so that it's clean following the Christmas holiday.

I'm very tired and worn out.

I am trying to make an acrylic painting of a friend's pet as a gift for her. I don't usually work in acrylics, so we'll see how it goes!

I've laid out my bullet journal for 2025 and set up January trackers. I'm using a much bigger notebook this time; I've added extra pages for monthly project tracking, and a bingo card of things I should do more often.

Hilariously, for projects I've said that in January I'll focus on 3 things:
* cutting out squares for the memory quilt;
* finishing the zodiac pajama pants; and
* practicing the drums.

So what have I been working on? My cross stitch (Haunted Graveyard), of course.

Oh yeah, and I got a drum set for Christmas. I've low-key always wanted one, and now I'm a grown-ass adult with disposable income, so why not?

A lot of art...... A lot of experimenting............... I wouldn't call these type of drawings succesful but I don't think that should be the point of these exercises and it's more about making mistakes and experimentation and learning from different artists I like. It's one fun way to spend 20 minutes learning about the different art styles you like and what elements you wanna take and remix for your own style.

Otherwise I did breakdowns for my comic, read through said breakdowns, then editted the outline based off what errors I caught for a better story. Then I'll make a new breakdown.

Otherwise nothing but my holidays were GOOD which is all I really hoped for this month!
