I may be able to help; what sort of thing are you having problems with?

If you're having trouble finding where you pick and apply one, you can do that in the Display tab of the Customize Journal Style section. Pick one you like from the drop-down menu, then scroll to the bottom of the module (below where it talks about the navigation strip gradient) and click Save Changes.

If it's something else, let me know and I'll do what I can!
