I'm writing at least 750 words a day on 750words.com as my morning pages.

I've done some research on medieval wine for 1290 and I've booked a day at the National Library of Wales to read some books for my research at the beginning of February.

I can't let go of my ego and do a shitty first draft (per Anne Lamott) of 1290....

I rode the stationary bike for the first time since December. I've got a sketch of my character for my Animon game to finish (Animon is a tabletop roleplaying game where you have monster companions like Digimon, Pokemon, etc.)

I currently don't feel like doing art, so I'm working on my Thundercats comics wiki. I'm adding notes about things that only showed up in the comics, mostly to see what the UK comics pull out from the US ones later. (I know they re-use Lynxana, and who can blame them)

I just got back from a Seattle Kraken Game! (They won!) Next, I'm going to a museum with a friend, and.... wow the recharge. I feel like I could sit down and write forever right now.

Those recharges like that are SO helpful sometimes. It's amazing how rejuvenating it can feel!

Ah, the usual. There was writing, there was comicking. I also learned a little bit more about genres I like and want to write in so that feels good.

Does getting better at adulting count? Because there was a lot of that. I think it'll make me more productive for next week ;D

This week I finished a couple books (Somewhere Beyond the Sea and Down Among the Sticks and Bones.)
I started two more: Never Say You Can't Survive and Trouble and Her Friends.
I've managed at least a bit of steady writing on my current WIP, which feels good, but I'm a little dismayed that I don't think I'm even quite at the halfway point, despite the steady progress, ha. Ah well.

Right now I'm just really wishing that winter hadn't decided to hit with a vengeance, ha.

Earlier this week I knit the parts for a tiny cat plushie. I still need to stuff it & do the details.

I got groceries today and I'm planning on doing some cooking. The new thing I want to do is try to make danishes. I do bake but I haven't made those before.

As I feel like I'm between writing projects (the new idea is percolating in my head, and the old one has not quite evacuated), I've been working on my website. I'm going to start having original content on there too.

Trying to do a reread of Gideon The Ninth where I take notes has been taking a while because I can't really read in bed but I am sure paying attention to so many things I missed... I think my first readthrough was kind of a fever dream, to be honest.

I've been having a lot of fun with Paisley Webster, my Hunger Games original character, and her extended universe this week. I'm getting really into worldbuilding District 8.

Honestly, work has been a shitshow lately and the fact that I'm able to write anything at all instead of just screaming inside my heart 24/7 feels like a big deal to me.

I'm re-crocheting a granny square/cat blanket that came apart in the wash. I'm also working on getting my blog backlog cut down. But first, I need to set up the second monitor for my work computer since one of them died the day after I came back from leave. Doing my job on one monitor suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.

I've been pretty down, and I've strained my left rotator cuff. So not a lot of creative stuff is going on.

I did sketch out some fun decoration for my February bullet journal layout - conversation hearts but they say things like "U GOT THIS" and "BAD ASS".

Today I needed something utterly mindless so I started the fourth Christmas Pusheen.

We had some friends over yesterday for a traditional Burns Night supper. I'm now running the dishwasher for the third time. Everything was yummy but I swear we've used every pot in this house at least twice.
