I made a protest sign and went to protest at Tesla! My childhood as a Dog Child came in handy drawing a Disappointed Doge meme on bumpy public transit.

I also recently drew another card for my homemade cartomancy deck and cataloged books at my local sci-fi library. So... not a lot of ART art, but a lot of art-ADJACENT!

So; I've been writing before work and at lunch, which is really nice. I've got a line on a job though that comes in at $4/hr more, and aligns more with what I like. (Point in fact: I hate my job, and my coworker)

I've gotten a bit written, some editing done. I can't complain!

But, most importantly, I've set up my altar. I've put up my idols, and am burning incense to sanctify it tonight. It's nice having it again.

Among other, less fun things, I've been working on my Thundercats comics wiki. I previously installed node.js which has a way to export the wiki as static pages. I figure out how to do that at some point.

I've been working on my fantasy WIP recently! I'm still figuring things out (character, worldbuilding, and plot, admittedly) but I'm impatient and have started writing as well. Which, in hindsight, isn't productive because I keep rewriting things when I've figured yet another part of the world/characters down, but I don't mind it because this WIP has consumed my soul.

I've been reading a random mix of whatever recent books I've read in the past few months: Range by David Epstein, Cedar B. Hartley (the second book), There's No Such Thing as a Good Job, etc. But I'm thinking of cracking open a fantasy book as a reference to my writing.

I packed my craft bag with things to do for a trip to a relative's for Sunday lunch. My partner is seeing his brother & sister for the first time in a while, so we will probably be there a while.

I drove to Boston to the airport a-g-a-i-n. That should be the last of those.

Tomorrow Mr Diane is driving ME to the airport! Only an hour to Albany. It's my turn to go on a family mourning trip and his turn to stay home with the cats and go feral for a week.

(It's not all bad. The trip is to Hawaii, where my parents live, to scatter my brother's ashes. And somehow I'm in charge of running a Zoom memorial. There will also be beaches, hiking, and FABRIC SHOPPING COMMA DAMMIT.)
