I'm not super good at it myself. I start by seeing what we have & what needs to be used up before it goes bad. I try to use that as inspiration. I only plan 2-3 days in advance and I pre prep if I have time/energy. I google recipies & try to track the ones that work or prep really well.
Focusing on 2-3 days at a time sounds like a great idea. I tend to go all or nothing (as in, the entire week) and it would probably help to rein that impulse in.
