I'm working on my fic for fallingforyoufallexchange! I'm also studying a lot this weekend because I have four tests this week so I don't have that much time to create, but I'm making the most of it. Thankfully, spring break here is getting closer.

Age 18+ fest summerofthe69 closes tomorrow evening! I didn't quite finish my second offering on time for the fest proper, so I posted a glorified outline for the final theme of "Failed 69" 😂

On the plus side, I'm still keeping up with my homework for my latest attempt at college! (All of two weeks into this semester, and may I just say about the amount I've had to do so far: Oof!)


I've also finished the rough draft of one of my fics for pokepodproject, and have a lot of the details nailed down for the second. Fingers crossed I'll finish those on time to also submit a treat!

Today we went to the Broomcorn Festival, and I posted the event report from that.

Yesterday I gathered a huge amount of marigold seeds.

I found a few little cucumbers after I thought those vines were done. Also, moths are visiting my sunflowers in the evenings! :D

Oof, I know that feeling. I drove through a downpour after work on Wednesday but it didn't QUITE reach my house, it definitely feels like a prank from nature!

Still drawing every day! I spent a lot of effort yesterday in particular on my drawing and it didn't turn out as good as I wanted, which is kind of a bummer, so I'm glad I have the daily drawing goal. Even when I'm not happy with the drawing itself I can still be happy I'm meeting the goal.

Setting up stuff for my house, coordinating a local electrician who's hard to get a hold of with solar panel installers to make sure I can have everyone get their work done and also have everything up to code... It's boring and time consuming but it's important!

Finally spinning up the creative engine again! Been working on some kinktober stuff writing-wise and getting back into sketching and learning drawing-wise.

Saw this yt video last week about prioritizing learning, so I went sky high with a list of things I'd like to learn and I'm getting excited for all that's ahead of me. There's gotta be more to life than wincing under the flailings of idiot kings and I'm gonna fuckin find it.

Back on my comicking bullshit. I'm rusty and trying to remember my old techniques. It's so fun learning how to draw comics, it's very freeing for the mind!

Otherwise I am just reflecting on job stuff and figuring out my work/life balance.

I pulled a muscle in my shoulder on Thursday, so I've been suffering. I'm home alone for a few weeks, which means I get to monopolize the living room and the television.

Measured and labeled a whole bunch of our tablecloths. Mom's been meaning to do it for ages, because some are too small for our dining table (I number I bought for a card-sized table when I had an apartment). Found one I didn't even know we had.

Been watching the various Mike Holmes shows (Holmes on Homes, Holmes Inspection, etc) on the Homeful channel (it's on Tubi, Pluto, Roku, and more) because they're doing his shows all month

I've been working on my website for smallweb. It's mostly been reorganizing and cleaning up code so far, but I have some sketches for a new index page design. I also made some buttons to link to the community.
