I accidentally happened on Movie Night at the yarn shop. I got SO MUCH DONE on my "out and about" cross stitch project! We watched part 2 of the Wicked movie - the sing-along edition. It was a lot of fun.

Friday I was in the big city (Albany, lol). In Barnes & Noble I bought the CUTEST crochet book - Wicked and Wizard of Oz themed. Do I know how to crochet? I do not. Did I buy it anyway? I did. Am I going to donate it to the yarn shop for their library? Probably eventually.

For some reason DW isn't letting me upload images right now. I'll post pics of the above when I can.

Meanwhile back in real life, it has been SO COLD. My car battery died yesterday. At least it opted to die at home. I finally snapped and called for a jump this morning, then went for a nice scenic drive & then bought cat food and a few other necessities. I guess I'm supposed to drive it every day to keep the battery in shape when it's this cold? That's my excuse for putting off my other shopping until tomorrow, and I'm sticking with it.

That sounds like a very very fun time, both the yarn shop and the scenic drive. Sucks when weather causes trouble though... I'm glad you we're home and not far away.
