It turns out that I am extra sensitive to vibration, & not in a good way; my hands get the tinglies after like three minutes sanding something, & if I push it the hand that was holding the sander turns off.

Fortunately my partners are willing to sand things when they're home, & I _can_ sand things by hand in the meantime, it's just slower.
