(look, it's tricky to come up with random words for this and I listen to A LOT of linguistics podcasts)

Answer me these questions three, ere the other side you see

WHAT have you gotten done?
WHAT do you need support for?
WHAT is your the most recent movie you've watched?

I have nearly finished one (of 3) designs from the hated Pusheen kit. Edit: Finished!

I have made progress on a test stitch for some alternative yellow-orange shades for the fourth Art Nouveau season.

I helped make some VERY clean surfaces in our house.

I need support in not feeling terrible when things go horribly wrong at work through lack of planning. I can't hold it all together myself.

I need to somehow learn how not to let the cats drive me crazy when they jump up on things or play with the wires behind my computer.

I watched Dr. Strange and the Multiverse of Madness, or as a friend put it, "Dr. Strange and the Whatever." It did not make a great deal of sense, although it had some interesting character development for Wanda.

Edited to add: I also need more wine.
And to finish some of these cross stitch projects I've already started before starting yet more new ones.

Join me in the dark side! What's wrong with having multiple projects going? (I've got 4 in rotation, plus Elisabeth, plus 1 small but I'm thinking about starting another small. And that's a low number for me and I keep thinking I need a new start :)

You say that like I actually have a rotation.

I have (consults bullet journal) 11 cross-stitch projects in various states of incompletion, one of which I'm pretty sure I bought in high school. Not to mention the sewing projects. And the stained glass project... and the attempts at learning beading and crochet...

Would a rotation help? I started it because I get bored with the same project, and there are places in the journey I always get bogged down (50-80% through depending on size of project, where I can see the end but it still feels SO FAR AWAY). So I decided rotating would keep me motivated through the slog, and give me variety.

I've tried doing a rotation in the past and I've never been able to stick to it.

At the moment, a rotation would be extra difficult because I corralled all the WIPs into a big plastic tub as part of the Great Craft Room Unwedging of 2021. Oops.

I think for right now, my "rotation" is going to be something like, do a small easy piece and then FINISH SOMETHING ELSE, repeat until dead. Or until we retire & move to a much bigger place where I can spread out my WIPs again.

Of course this has not stopped me from working on the test colors for Autumn......
