We're over the holidays! It's a new year! It's a good time to look back on last year. What did you get done that you're most proud of? What held you back? Is there anything you'd like to do more of?

Over at allbingo the Public Domain Day Bingo Fest is on. Use the media coming into the public domain in your own creations, or just use the prompts as inspiration. Some of the big ones this year are the last of the Sherlock Holmes stories, the first three Hardy Boys books, and the Jazz Singer

And the standards: What are you working on now? What do you need encouragement on?

I'm slowly working on a reference sheet for Wolpertimon (an digimon OC). I made a few of zer parts in Blender because you can use 3d objects in Clip Studio and drawing is hard. I probably should do a blog post about it.

Today I'm gming the conclusion to an adventure in Dungeons and Dragons and tomorrow I'm playing a game of Iron Edda, which is a Fate Accelerated game. And I really need to look at the game book

I also watched Del Toro's Pinocchio (on Netflix) and really recommend it (tw for alcohol, drowning, child abuse, war [it's set in Italy during the rise of Mussolini], child death, skeletons, burning [to Pinocchio, but you hear him yelling] and probably some stuff I'm forgetting)

It's gorgeous and I wish there was more discussion of it going on on Tumblr

Thank you for the rec, I've seen it mentioned a few times but I didn't even know it was a new movie!

Also I love playing Dungeons and Dragons but I'm such a newbie at it and not good at all (yet). xD
