(we've had rain and sleet here a few days)

Thank you Dianec42 for stepping in last week!

We're over the holidays! It's a new year! It's a good time to look back on last year. What did you get done that you're most proud of? What held you back? Is there anything you'd like to do more of?

Over at [community profile] allbingo the Public Domain Day Bingo Fest is on. Use the media coming into the public domain in your own creations, or just use the prompts as inspiration. Some of the big ones this year are the last of the Sherlock Holmes stories, the first three Hardy Boys books, and the Jazz Singer

And the standards: What are you working on now? What do you need encouragement on?

Multitasking is my jam ;)

Yes! -
Wednesday - It's a bit different than some people are expecting out of the Addams Family, but it's really well done overall and I especially like how they handle coming of age with fantasy elements.

The Sandman - In my opinion, it's an excellent adaptation of the comic.

We Baby Bears - It's a children's show prequel of We Bare Bears. The show features Griz, Panda, and Ice Bear as cubs traveling in a magical cardboard box to different worlds looking for a home. The episodes are only 11 minutes long and it's adorable.

Harley Quinn (cartoon tv series): it's nuts and definitely a unique take on the characters, but it's good.

Most of the rest have been catching up on final seasons of shows I haven't been able to get to or prewatching the movies from DC Animated Universe with Damian Wayne in them for a friend (not that I am not enjoying those too, it just felt weird to rec them).

Oh, yay, I watched Wednesday (I liked it A LOT, and it's pretty much exactly what I expected tbh :D) and The Sandman (I really liked many parts of it, I've never read the comic). ♡ I'm bookmarking We Baby Bears, I haven't heard of it before and sometimes I really need a silly kid's show, it sounds right up my alley, thank you. :D

Awesome! I loved Wednesday and The Sandman both dearly, but I have been seeing so much backlash from Addams Family fans and Sandman comic fans, I have been reccing with caution.

You're welcome. I hope you enjoy We Baby Bears. It has become my comfort food show, for sure.

I forgot to add Glass Onion to my earlier recs, if you are into mysteries at all.

I'm honestly the last person that would react with backlash to anything, so no need to worry here. :D Like, I did like these shows (just uploaded 3 Wednesday icons today actually! ♡), but even if I hated them I'd just shrug it off and watch something else instead of complaining, so. :D

I never really end up watching movies (I quite literally watch one movie every 3 years, if even, and everything else is tv shows xD), but thank you for this rec too! :)
