One character is growing biofuels
It seems to be a rather small subset of SF (though I would argue a lot of Star Trek belongs in that little pocket). I definitely prefer it to dystopians.
Well, I do definitely love Star Trek. :D I do like dystopia too, though - my interest in fiction goes from hopeful to grimdark and from adorable to horrifying like a pendulum (and if the same canon has both? A+++).
Same here though my taste for dystopians has fallen a bit (often it's the misogyny in so many) Speaking of which I have a few grimdarks on the tbr pile i need to get to
