Date: 2023-06-04 02:52 pm (UTC)My original mission statement for doing a practice piece was, "I think I want to make quilts, but I'll start with something small in case I hate it or in case I'm terrible at it." Then I realized, of COURSE I'm going to be terrible at it. I'm not going to be able to excel at every single thing the first time I try it.
And I really am learning. Best to learn these things NOW and get them out of my system, right?
