I've got the initial pockets ready to turn inside-out for about twenty-eight future marble mazes. I'm hoping to have them done by Friday.

I've also officially started work on the covers for the arms and backs of my family's new as of two months ago recliners. The back pieces are finished, the arm pieces are next; I'm currently debating if I actually want to go to the trouble of making them chair-arm-shaped, or if I just want to make rectangles, the latter of which is what my parents were apparently expecting and would probably be satisfied with. No official end date for these, though it would be nice to have them done by the end of the month.

Sounds like you got a lot of work done! I googled pockets for marble mazes, those sound like a ton of fun!

Are the recliner covers sewing or some other textile craft? The rectangle shapes sound way easier and quicker to do. How is it going with those? Best wishes for good progress this weekend. :D

I'm having a really good time making them! And since I make the maze itself entirely out of cloth, most of it scraps from other projects, it's pretty economical to boot 👍 Especially since I also get the marbles I use at the Dollar Tree. My current mazes are about 3"x4"/7.5cm x 10cm, and the marbles I use need 1"/2.5cm tunnels in the cloth, so there aren't a whole lot of designs for where I can make the marble go, but I've got five designs that work and that I'm pleased with. (By "pocket" here, I basically mean the entire cloth packet that will eventually make up the maze itself.)

The recliner covers are all sewing, with a side of ironing on interfacing. I haven't gotten any more done yet since I had work today, and decided to prioritize flipping the marble maze pockets right-side-out since I'm hoping to sell some this weekend, but I'm not going to completely rule out the possibility of getting at least rectangles done. I probably could crochet something, but honestly, at that scale I'd just prefer sewing anyway.

Thank you for the good wishes, and same to you!

Oooh, that sounds like very cost-effective entertainment, both in the sewing and then in the solving. Yeah, I see that at that size, there are not that many different designs but yay for you finding 5 different ones anyway!

Oh good, sewing sounds like the easiest (but still not that easy!) means of doing the recliner covers. Best wishes for your progress under the week, if you have any time, and best wishes for next week's crafting and also the selling! :D
