I went poking in our storage unit, and now I have several more WIPs (and one not started) where I know where all the pieces are. I'm choosing not to enumerate, because it is a bit overwhelming, but what I need to do is find a TV series I can half focus on and get going!

However, what I worked on yesterday was a project I started earlier in the year, which is a hexagon patchwork piece that is going in a frame for putting my enamel pin collection in. It is now at the point that I'm adding the last half dozen pieces around the edge, so there is no backing fabric visible. Then quilting, and the fun of filling it with shiny things!

This week, in creative efforts, I finished and uploaded my apazine for mid-August through mid-October. And I replied to some DW comments about the art that I posted during the first half of the month.

In more mundane matters, I made no visible progress (yet), on doing some drawing and/or photography &/or on trying something new to get myself to make some progress on some household upkeep tasks. However, I did do inventory and ordering of the nutritional supplements that I buy from my MD, and I successfully balanced my checkbook and paid some bills.

I rescheduled my yearly mammogram screening appointment because I had some maybe-contagious symptoms. (Later experience suggests not contagious.)

In this coming week, I hope to finish inventorying and ordering the supplements that I don't get from my MD. I hope to make a little more art, &/or take some photos, &/or go see the (non-juried) photo show that accepted one of my photos. However, I think I have two health appointments and a project date to keep, in this coming week, and I definitely have a significant amount of voting research to do. We'll see what happens.

I made dinner today.

I have some socks that I am planning to mend. I pulled out the embroidery thread that I'm using and put it in the bag with my darning kit & the socks. To tired to do it now but maybe tomorrow.

Do you ever do timed "bursts of effort" with another person, checking in before and after? I sometimes find doing that to be helpful. The bursts can be of any time length that the people involved agree on.

I'm in USA left coast time zone, if you'd be interested in trying it with me. I can't guarantee that I'll see a reply promptly, but I'll try to keep an eye out...

I did some more comic writing and made the difficult but important choice to amalgamate all of my writing time into comic writing stuff, it's just for the best with my energy levels and free time right now. I did some comic studying as well so that feels good. My biggest accomplishment was actually telling an entire story in 1 page. I mean, it's still a draft, but this is the first time I've ever been able to tell a story in 1 page so I feel awesome UwU

Otherwise I'm just surviving. I hope everyone else is well and enjoying spooky month.

I've managed to schedule some time to write with friends in a body Doubling session over zoom. This will give me some activation energy to work on 1290 project.

Struggling a bit with depression hence needing the activation energy. Also need to go to the British library in London for their exhibition on medieval women, also for the 1290 project.

I'm working on a patch jacket that I'm hoping to have roughly presentable for a concert on Tuesday. Yesterday I painted some patches and kind of (like 2.25 out of 3) sewed on the premade ones (by hand, through two pretty thick fabrics as a very rudimentary sewist, so it took like three hours). I'm hoping to finish up the edges of my DIY patches, set the paint, and get everything attached over the next couple days.
