I've mostly been working, but this weekend I'm making Christmas icons.

I should do some more round-ups of icons I've made because my old round-ups were hosted on Photobucket and are all broken.

Four winter/xmas icons made so far, plus added some others since I paid and have more icon slots

Been updating the information in Calibre for the Thundercats comics, both the US and UK series, with the goal to put it into the Grand Comics Database later. With the UK series, I have to cross-reference the US series and the Power Pack Classic trade paperbacks.

Right now I'm doing the UK issues that weren't in poly-bags and the associated US comics.

This is also letting me try out new keycaps on my mechanical keyboard, in the xda profile. I think I might like moa more, which is a shame because moa keycaps are harder to find. I want to get new switches for the keyboard as well - I think the red switches are too light for how I type. I just have to decide whether to get linear or tactiles... or both.

I started piddling around with icons. Do you have any tips for making appealing ones?

icontalking has links to resources. I mostly try to crop as close as possible and often up the contrast. But I'm generally making icons from comics which is easier.
