What have you gotten done this week? Done anything fun lately? What are you working on this weekend?

I've been playing a lot of tabletop rpgs and have one that starts in about five minutes so I gotta run! See y'all in a couple of ours and I hope you've gotten a lot done!

I've got most of what needs to go in the van for Battlemoor staged near the front door, so that's a big thing done (& a big pile of stuff). I've been working on building shelves this week, & I got the first set done! I'll be able to fit more stuff in the van now that that's ready.

Today I'll be working on the second set of shelves, at least until the weather rolls in -- the monsoon has arrived & late afternoon tends to be a BIT too rainy to work outside. After that I've got sewing to do. Yes, more sewing...but this is MUCH easier, MUCH more fun, & if I don't get it done it doesn't matter.

Ooooh, hope you have fun at your game! :D

I compiled some references for a couple art things I have planned, but besides cleaning and other housework I haven't done much this week; been feeling a little under the weather recently, although I did make some time today to maybe start on said art things!

I finished a Chevron crocheted slouch hat! I also decided I was DONE with my Meandering Shawl. Normally I aim for 60" long which is 10 repeats of the pattern, but I got bored and stopped at 8 repeats. It's still big enough to wrap around me, so it works even being shorter.

I had a productive day so far :) This morning J & put a new computer part in my computer & also clean it. it was real dirty and it runs so much better now. :) We also gave the dog a bath with his new flea shampoo. It really seems to have helped.

I made breakfast, cleaned & vacuumed the carpet and did some light shopping at the corner store. I also made a test batch of brownies. I lost a bet at work and now I owe someone brownies. I am using it as an excuse to find a good homemade fudgy brownie recipe. This batch turned out not as fudgy as I wanted but it was still good. now I just have to resist the urge to eat them all.

Hello! I am new to the DreamWidth community and am just poking around to see what is going on.

My name is Heather but I also go by Rue, Ruinous, or Rapture.

This past weekend, my husband and I went to SGDQ in Minnesota, which is a charity event that benefits Doctors Without Borders. This coming weekend, I am not sure what the plans are. I haven't been as actively creative as I would like, but I am looking to dig deeper into connection with others in hopes that it will inspire me.

I'm really excited to be a part of this community and to see all of the amazing things everyone is working on!
