I've been working on editing my novel, Lest They Leave. It's been through two betas now and I've slowly implemented the notes I've got from them. Still waiting on one beta, but then that part of the process should be done which is an relief, I don't deal with all this waiting on hearing back-stuff all that well, LOL.

One of my betas has a brother who does professional book covers and she's talked him into making one for my novel which is such a sweet, incredibly generous gesture and I'm honestly stoked about it. She had me writing a blurb for the back which currently looks like this but is a work in progress still:

“Finally on my way somewhere, she thought to herself, looking out the windows of the Marseille – Paris train that was taking her home for the first time in fifteen years, and not merely for the sizzling heat of summer or the snowy chill of Christmas, not merely to visit. No, to stay.

A process of ruination that is only worsened when she meets Eloisa Paolo, famed stage actress and furthermore, Charles’ squeeze.

Set in 1920’s Paris, this is a story of love, loss and self-discovery. For lovers of The Great Gatsby.

Last but not least, I'm waiting for my Napoli fic to get claimed for art for smallfandombang, and gotten back to uploading my big Omina verse novel to AO3, so I'm keeping busy, I guess.

Goodness, that's quite a lot of stuff! It sounds like you're making great progress on all of it, though; and congrats on the book cover! I hope it turns out well!
